Most people would recommend 3.73s up to 4.30s, depending on if you have a auto or manuel.

My first mods on all of my cars have always been a new intake and exhuast. It always makes driving much more enjoyable. Have the new sound, and attention getter, and a slightly better feel.

I would go with Asian characters. Each symbol adds at least 5 hp and you can outfit your whole care for about 20 bucks. I would go with 2 on the deck lid, a large one on the rear window and several small characters along the front quarter panel.

If those don't give you the HP you want, consider a neon lighter or spinner hub caps. Those are both great mods, but cost a bit more.

Good luck!

(by the way, I'm kidding!)

I would say full exhaust to get the sound and some performance. I have to say, the exhaust tone is priceless and when you start setting off car alarms, you will know why you got it.

I have a 96 GT that was bone stock when I picked it up 3 weeks ago and the first thing I did was removed the rubber air silencer in the intake and cut a triagle hole in the top of the air box and added a K&N filter. I definetly felt a huge difference in not only the throttle response but torque of the car at wide open throttle.
