The X can tend to be raspy. The H is going to be deeper.
Here are lots of clips.

only certain people like the sound of the xpipe..im one of them in fact i love it, to me it sounds like intimidation on wheels, i get wood driving by concrete walls, but for the deep sound go with the o/r h

Either way you go with 40 series Flows will be raspy soundin, but I hated my X-pipe and 40 series so much I sold them within 300 miles. I couldn't bear the noise any longer. If you must have Dronemasters than I would suggest either a Prochamber or atleast an H-pipe. Def not an X. I would recc. an X only on deeper sounding catbacks like SLP's, Borla stingersor Magnapacks. Currently have an X with Magnapacks and sounds Bad ***. Nothing like those gay *** flows, sorry bud but if you sold them and went with magnapacks you would think the same thing. They are like vacationing in the Bahamas you never go back!...lol I will never own flows ever, and I have loved them since day 1. There are so many other companies out there that have surpassed their quality and sound.

well the X will be more raspy and not as deep as the H but if you dont like the kackel of the exhaust when you let off the X is for you, the H kackels alot the X almost dont at all

The X is going to sound MUCH meaner with the flows. The H will have a more tame muscle car sound.. Even though the H has a better overall tone i do not like it because it is just to tame for me....
