Default Need a Geek for help

Okay i need someone who is really up to date with their mustang know how. i have a 1998 v-6 mustang except no v-6 its a 2003 drivetrain. i have blown second gear, while i have read the TSB 04-15-6 i know that ford wont fix my problem. since its a mismatch of model years, not to mention things that mess with the computer chip/ speed cal. so heres the question. what can i do? Its rather costly to get this fixed, so im looking into other options. can or will a t-45 fit? does it bolt up with out any added stuff (drive shaft, cross member, sensors) how about a t-56? i mean i jusdt need to know dimensions of them all.
PLEASE HELP NO SECOND GEAR.

yea if you blew second gear out of the 3650 i definitely wouldnt go down to a t-45, but if you could pull the tranny yourself then you could just buy stronger gears and syncros and beef it up rather than spend a lot of money on a new t-56. but now that the 3650's come stock in newer mustangs you could probly just buy one with low miles from a junk yard. what the hell were you doing that you blew your second gear? sorry dont know about the fitment, but it might go something like t-56 sits a little lower and you could just look up the cobra part# for the driveshaft and should bolt right up since they use the that same drivetrain. that sucks man good luck!
