Default CAI question.

Alright, Ive beenlookin to get a CAI for my Mustang (in fender). If im gonna get the whole thing (intake tube and filter), id go with the 200 JLT. But what i've been hearing lately, all i need to do is buy a decent sized pipe that wont heat up much and will go into the fender, and slap the K&N i have now on the end of it.

Any ideas? Ive seen the pipes themselves runnin for 75 bucks and up.

Well, all that JLT has is a wider, more heat-resistant pipe, that goes into the fender, and it has a bigger filter. Im not one to wanna skimp on quality for my baby, but I could prolly save almost 100 bucks, just by buying a good quality pipe, and throwin my smaller, but still good K&N on, right?

I know that Pep Boys sells chrome intake pipes and connectors for cheap, and I havea K&N fenderwall. I'm probably going to do the same thing.

But I do have one question (and not trying to hijack the thread), but if I do put in the chrome pipes, how would I put in the MAF sensor?
