o0o, also for the solution to use. Take an empty squirt bottle and fill it with water and 2-3 drops of dish soap and rubbing alcohol if you like to speed up the drying.

Prep the decklid first by washing it, then spray both the area and piece, and move it around to where you want it and then begin to squeegee it.

 

Why go with the sticker? Either paint it or buy the actual plastic piece that goes there, Someone on here just recently painted his and his wifes, looked fantastic, the piece that is made to go there is the same pattern as the grill, and scoop inserts, honeycomb, Just a thought....

ehhh...painting is too much money and you have to be VERY careful, if you mask it wrong and paint parts you don't want painted u'll have some trouble.

 

Post this in the chop shop yourmom.IMO, it will look good.

Hey Durr, when you took off the ford oval to put your decal there, was there a hole? If so, what did you do to fill it in?

 

If you're talking to me then they are not cheap vinyls. It is paint. I taped it off cleaned, scuffed, cleaned with grease and wax remover and sprayed. Took 2 hours to do both cars including taking to deck lids off and only cost $6 for material.
