Default headers? i know, ANOTHER header post

all right i know this has been absolutely beat into the ground, but im about to get some long tube headers, and i wouldn't waste anyone's time with another post about headers if i didnt really need some input. i dont really know what makes a good header vs a waste of money, like ceramic coated, stainless, 1 5/8" or 1 3/4", and just by brand. think i heard american racing and kook make good headers, but what'sbetter about theirs?any input would help. haha and thanks again for taking the time to read another header post.

kooks are probably going to be the best especially with their reputation... but i would never in my life spend over $1,000.00 for just headers.
The most popular ones you will see people using around here are going to be the BBK ceramic coated LT's.
if your going to do the LT's I would suggest doing whatever you can do that involves moving the motor a little or modifications that the headers block such as putting in a new clutch before or during the install of headers because its expensive to install long tubes and nobody wants to do them because of the hassle.

you want to get the widest pipe you can and you want to get something that won't rust... other then that i would say everything is the same except maybe the warrenty offered by the company

Hey how you doin, you still go to school around here?

Yeah, I haven't been on in such a long time.
I'm moving to Orlando in 2 months and will be going to UCF.
As for now I've got my nitrous setup coming in 2 weeks and I'm also looking into a Saleen IV series supercharger before I move up there, but don't count on that yet, theres no point of making my car as fast as a cobra when I could just buy one

i was gonna buy a terminator before i went up selling this one and working my *** off but i figured i'd make this car as fast as one, and get a nice cobra after i graduate or something.
