It will definitely smoke up the neighborhood when you use it.

i personally think the stuff works. when i first used it at 60K i got the usual smoke show and my idle was noticeably smoother afterwards. i tried it again two months later and i barely got any smoke, so i'm guessing the smoke really is all the carbon and crap in the engine burning off

The way I used it was 1/3 of the bottle in the gas tank filler, 1/3 into a vaccuum line that is in the throttle body (I used a clear hose, put one end on the t/b hole, and the other end in the bottle and let it suck it up), and 1/3 in the oilcap. I let it sit for 15 minutes, and started her up, and vroom! Took it out on the backroads and gave it hell. SOOO MUCH SMOKE!

It really did feel better, and my mpg went up about 1-2 depending on how I drive.

Dan04, I was at about 1/16th of a tank full of gas when I did this, and the way I thought it cleaned up the tank was that the stuff would sink to bottom, and eat away the grime in there, then drive it around, waste the dirty gas, and then come back and do the vaccuum and crankcase to get what evers left. I guess thats how it's supposed to work?

It's a fad. Some odd years ago everyone swore by Marvel Mystery Oil. Now no one uses it. It will pass and then some other "miracle" product will come out.

I just used it in my 4 banger with 70k on it. The car wasnt running bad before, but before I went and tried it on the 4.6 I wnated to try it on my beater. It smoked a little when I was pouring it thru the brake booster line and then I put the rest in the motor and gas tank. The car was slow before and is still slow now....however it does idle much smoother now. The car can be running with me inside of it...and I cant feel that its running. It was not like that before.
