Default wow.....anyone else??

Recently did a tuneup on my 00' GT and Im amazed.....new plugs, fuel filter, k&n hi-flo air filter, oil change, and took off the horrible sounding bbk x pipe and left my flowmaster 40's catback on and the thing runs better than when I bought it. Its quieted down a lot but still sounds great. It accelerates smoother and is much snappier with the k&n. The stock filter I took out was crusted with s... has anyone else noticed a big difference when doing this?

Tune ups are wonderful. You never really know how much power the car is missing until you do one after a while.

i hope you didnt forget the differential fluid or tranny filter (have to do those every 15,000 cause of dusty a** vegas) btw tune-up is more of a term for carb'd vehicles seeing as you would have to "tune" the carburator (spelling). what you did, was more of preventative maintenance ha

since i hyrdrolocked my engine and had to get a new block and rods, the mechanics are also going to be changing the oil, flushing the radiator, changing plugs, fuel filter, air filter, tranny filter/fluid, differential fluid and also flushing the brake system. I can't wait to get her back. she's been gone for almost 3 weeks now. Can't wait to see how much better it runs.
