I need help with install instructions
I just got my new upper and lower control arms for Granatelli Control arms for a 2001 gt conv.but I have no install instructions. From what i understand, it's a pretty easy install, but I need the instructions. If anybody knows where I can get some, that would be awesome. Thanks.

RE: I need help with install instructions
Raise the cars rear and support it with jack stands on the body (make sure to block the front wheels)
Remove wheels
Put the jack under the diff and support it
disconnect the shocks and quad shocks
lower the axel
pull the spring out
disconnect the lower arm from the axel
disconnect the lower arm from the body
install new lower arm at the body
put the spring on the arm and raise to the axel and connect the arm to the axel (use the jack for this)
Reconnect the shocks and quad shocks
Do this one side at a time

For the uppers
support the axel with a jack and disconnect the upper arm
remove the rubber bushing in the axel ( you will need to use a drill to drill around the inside of the axel mount and break up the rubberunless you have a removal tool)
install new bushing in the axel
install new arm

RE: I need help with install instructions
I also used a lift to install the CAs. I used the aforementioned 'pole' jack also. Be carefull, because the axle will want to rotate forward or rearward depending on with arms you're replacing. Just reposition the jack and you can correct it. I recommend replacing one arm at a time. I saved some time by not replacing the bushing on the axle. I'll have to do it eventually, but I was in a rush.
Good luck.
Good luck.
