Just bought a 03 with 115km on it, and i noticed that when i drive fast, if i his a little bump in the road, the back end almost goes sideways, im wondering if theres something wrong or if thats just the way it is?

 

The GT two-step is a very common thing. It will usually hop and skip around depending on the hole in the ground, as low as 40MPH or so.

 

ahhh, its not a gt though..

 

my car usually does a little shimmy if i hit a hole mid-corner but not anything close to getting sideways.

 

hmm sounds like your shocks are busted.

 

+1. With 115k miles, you should look at a full check up! I'd replace shocks,struts & quads and while you're at it, if you have plans on lowering your car, go ahead and do your springs. The problem you are having, is not the first.

 

yea at my job I drove a truck that had busted rear shocks and whenever I hit a bump it would go sideways, scared me I almost thought it was gonna flip over. So that is my guess

 

yeah, im going to get it fully looked over once i start gettin money comin to me. so i'll get those things changed for sure and im not gonna lower it because the roads where i live suck
