Default GT upgrade plan

Before I started looking into mustangs I was thinking of getting a 99GSX Eclipse. I was told that this is a good in-order way to upgrade it:
Exhaust, intake, BOV, boost and wideband guage, MBC/EBC, Turbo, FMIC, fuel pump and FPR, and lastly the injectors and the SAFC II (keep in mind you need to tune the injectors... thats why they are last)

Replace your clutch when ever it starts slipping.

Is this a good step by step upgrade plan for a 01-02 Mustang GT vert too?

Ummm no not really. A GSX is boosted from the factory. A GT is not, the way I would approach the 2 cars would be totally different. It also really depends on what your goals for the car are. I would do a search. There is a lot of good information on this site.

Uhh, a gsx eclipse is nowhere near the level of performance of a Mustang GT. Modding a 4banger (built to be fuel efficient)is not the same as modding a v8 (built for power). There are a lot of things you can do. Intake, full exhaust, pulleys, gears, cams and heads, throttle body and plenum, tune, suspension; or do whatever is necessary to prepare the car for F/I wether it be a turbo or supercharger. Just browse the tech sections and see what other people are doing.

Good job goin with the Stang over an Eclipse! Eclipse...[:'(]
If you want the fast, easy... but not cheapest way to get the bang from the stang, Get 4:10 gears, Full exaust, and a Procharger! DONE! Other things like an MGW short throw shifter, pulley, etc. to finish it off!

Don't use under drive pullies with a s/c. You will lose boost.

I guess my goal would be around a 12sec 1/4 mile. . . What would be a good upgrade plan to get to this?

Dude get a Stang. They look and sound great. Cost a good bit to make fast. If you don't wanna go FI then get your self full bolt ons and some cams. That should get you in the 12s with radials.
