Default Nitrous Question

I used the search, and been reading over stuff with a buddy. I have a friend with a 02GT looking to order a nitrous kit. It was a salvaged car that he got got next to nothing, and hes only using on the track. Its been gutted as much as possible. It looks ridiculous. He has a set of drag radials, and a few other small things.

He was asking me about nitrous kits, and I didnt know much about it so I got on here, and learned plenty.

Any of you guys have experience with either of these 2 kits?

Venon VCN1000
http://www.americanmuscle.com/vevcn10nikit.html

or

NX
http://www.americanmuscle.com/nx-efi...2vgt-9604.html

It says the NX comes with a push botton activation. Anyone know about the Venom? My buddys interested in the WOT setup. Either of these have it, or anyone with a link to where it can be bought? And its compatible with both these setups?

The Venom kit is a dry kit(from what I can tell) and would be simplier to work with. I havnt really heard much about Venom, so that could be a good/bad thing.

The NX is a wet kit. It sprays fuel and nitrous, instead of just nitrous like the dry kit. The NX kit is basically the top on the line stuff. Excellent quality parts, great customer support, and I've had a great experience with NX. I'm 99% positive that the NX kit comes with a WOT switch.

Tell you bud not to forget about retarding the timing, and finding some NGK TR6(or equivalent) spark plugs. He may want to look into a window switch, purge kit, bottle pressure gauge, etc.............

Yeah, I know the wet and dry, and were gonna go with a wet kit in his car. The Venom doesnt clearly say what it is. The NX on americanmuscle is pretty descriptive about what it has. So you like yours? Thats good. Seems like most the guys here have NX.

Thanks ZW. I'll probably be PM'ing ya later.
