What is different from the 99-01 to the 01-04's that would make thisnot fit?

Alright...I was just wondering why it would fit an 01 but not my 02.

I have read that Ford changed the A-pillar in '03 to beef it up a bit--I've never looked to see if the trim changed as well, however on my '03 it's very nearly an inverted triangle in section that's at least 1 couple inches deep...

+1. I had a 95 V6 and the a pillar trim was not the same.

That one he just showed will fit convertibles. It is not the full pillar pod it is just a little add on one. Yes it will fit ALL Mustangs fron 1994-2004.
