Default MAC vs. Flowmaster, which sounds better?

Are they basically the same thing except MAC comes in stainless steel? Just wondering if they sound the same. I haven't heard a MAC catback in person but I have heard Flowmaster, wondering if it's the same thing as far as sound goes.

They both sound pretty close.

Flowmaster is a bit louder.

I have actually had both before. Not much difference, I have MAC now, and like it slightly better. The sound seems to be a bit nicer for my taste.

Mac is usually a lil deeper than Flows... but alot of times it depends on the midpipe that is used with the catback that makes the difference.

N ice thanks for the input guys. So MAC is stainless AND deeper? Sounds like a clear winner to me. If my O/R H sounds like crap w/ the Packs I will go MAC catback. I'd like Spintech but I can't seem to find JUST the catback available.

I think Flowmaster is deeper.

I had both and I now have MAC and I definitely like it better. It's deeper IMO.

It is like ice cream. Some flavors taste better to others. But too much and you might get sick.

I still think flows sound good, but I like my MAC better, maybe because I got sick of my flows. But to me, MAC does sound deeper.

Would drone be an issue on a MAC catback with an O/R H pipe?
