Is this 330 to the wheels and is it worth it?

 

Hah, it comes with "330HP" badges. No. Youd be lucky to see 280 to the wheels with that setup. Maybe 330rwhp with all of that plus intake manifold, big cams and p&p heads.

It could possibly push 330 crank, but i doubt it. I would say it might put down around 260-270 rwhp, or about 300-310 crank.

 

The ad never says anything about RWHP. it just says horsepower. I think they're talking about flywheel hp. Nonehteless, I think it's ridiculous to claim +70 hp with pullies, exhaust, filter and a tuner. That's worth about 20 hp on a relatively stock motor.

Iam upset they dont make the magic 330 kit for the 99-00 stangs. Thats gotta have a hell of a tune.

 

Maybe 330 at the crank which will give you around 280 at the wheels. I would say that is legit with those parts.

 

It's not even close. I have everything on the kit minus the pullies and I only put down 240. But factor in maybe 5 for the pullies plus about ten more being a stick and you might see 255-260. 280 is not gonna happen with those little of mods.

 

MM&FF did a test on that setup and came up with around 265-270 RWHP a year or two ago. I have the rag around here somewhere.....
