how do you like your 4:10s with the 6 speed

I do still lik my 3.73's though. I guess since it's not a major hard core track car, it's good enough for me. As the WHP numbers increase, the need for gear decreases. A 4.10 in my car would just be too short in 1st/2nd. Until the suspension work it would simply fry the tires in 1st and usually in 2nd. Hell, I was perfectly happy with my 3.73s with only 280 WHP though.. I never felt the need for a shorter gear. Yeah, I may have you confused with someone else? I just can't see having anything steeper than the 3.73s in the car now, unless it was a track only setup. 1st and 2nd are just too short, and on the wrong pavement I am fighting for traction with the 315 nittos. |

Even if you have a auto, stick with 3.73. I have traction problems and have 315's on the rear. I have the car shifting at 6400 rpm and roost the tires from 1st to 2nd on the shift and it's squirely from 2nd to 3rd gear. Im working on my suspension right now and hopefully it will plant the tires allot better.
