Well, as the title says, I put high flow cats on my car this weekend so I can pass inspection here in NJ. I must say it sounds like a completely different car now. Its so quiet now, and it sucks.Now my exhuast seems to be squeeking everytime I go over a bump or something, and its really starting to get annoying. It didnt do it before the cats were put on. O well, Im taking them off next weekend after I get inspected anyways, and Ill be sure to do a good job, and make sure everything is seating right. I really dont care right now, becuase theyre only gonna be on there for a week.

 

That sucks man, I'm so glad there are no emissions testings in my state. Also I can't wait for my O/R Prochamber to come in.. I've never driven or been in a cat without cats! It should sound good.

 

A car without cats is loud as hell, and youll love it.

 

Hell yeah man I'm PUMPED. Do non catted cars give off a certain smell? Someone has talked about this before. I bet it's all part of the experience though:
- loud pipes
- exhaust smell (hopefully not poisonous lol)
- and no restrictions

 

It does give off a smell. It smells like being at the track, unburnt fuel and all.

it smells strong like raw gas unless you still have the stock catback then it doesnt smell quite as bad...yes it is poisonous so dont let babies ride in your car
