Default Hey Code P51 question

Whats up Code. ive been thinking about a P51 manifold and have mixed thoughts ive read not worth it unless you have cams and p&p heads. but then also ive seen you can get some ok gains with some of the mods i have (in my sig) i just want your opinion and/or ideas. i also want to go with vt stage one cams but wont unless i find some one in cali that has passed a smog with them. if you got any info on that would be nice too.
Thanks

Either way, don't you need an exemption order in CA?

Gains wise, on a otherwise stock motor your gonna make alot more with the cams. From what I have seen, the P51 really only starts to pickup power above the realistic powerband of a otherwise stock 4.6L 2v.

You might lose a little with the P51 and minor bolt ons. It is one BIG *** intake...LOL If you are planning on doing some major head/cam work then go for it.

no major head/cam work but if i can find some evidence that in ca the vt stage one will pass then i will do that. but thats about it. so you would say spend the money other places first or get it. (in the future i plan to s/c but not for like 2 yrs "shell be paid off then").

if the car is blown or will be soon... make sure you get blower cams... they are better on a supercharged car than n/a cams..

It doesn't matter if you pass or not out here. You'll need the CARB # (I dunno if it has one or not) to avoid getting towed, impounded and fined out the *** if a cop pops your hood.

As I've said a million times, CA sucks ***** for modding cars....
