Default Question

Alright i have 2 questions. My 97 gt has 3 inch exhaust piping. The guy before me put it on. would i gain more hp switching to a 2 1/2 piping or 2 3/4.
My second question is if i keep the 3 inch can i lower my car maybe an inch and a half from stock height. I was told that my exhause will hit any bump i go over. but that inch and half sure looks alot better than stock height. any help if needed thanks

Default RE: Question

size of your exhaust pipes really doesnt affect horsepower until you start putting up 300+hp numbers... i believe the stock is good for 300.. the 3 inch is good for 400+ but its always nice to see big exhaust pipes coming out of a mustang, USUALLY
