Finally got some $$$
I got a good 600 to spend, and i would like to finish my exhaust. I have the LM2's right now. Was thinking about getting me a H or X. Was also looking into getting a lowering kit, but i want to have my stang sounding sick! I live in CA so i gotta get some cats on which ever i get. Any suggestions?
keep in mind that it is illegal to remove/change location/change number of the cats in cali. Just letting ya know...but if u have hookups for the smog checks then ur set. I love my x pipe.
Yea i know about inspections in CA, but I will pass the sniffer, its just if they look under the car or not from what i have asked some people. I want my car to be louder. Oh and mvr I love the way the SLP X sounded. I didnt know you got one. Was installation on it easy?
Exhaust is the first thing I did on my car because I love the sound of the 4.6. I just can't wait to get it back with the LTs on. Open LT headers was fun til I popped a spark plug.
If you were going with an off road X I'd say get gears also but catted is more. My o/r H was 140 bucks.

here's what you do:
get the SLP O/R X. then go to the junkyard and find some POS cats off whatever car. then gut them. now take the empty shells and cut them in half. then where your cats WOULD be, just weld them over the pipes so it LOOKS like you have cats if you get pulled over. then when it is time for smog just swap your stock mid-pipe back in.
