Square metal tubes running about 6' on the bottom on both sides. (sub frame brace for convertible I guess)

Also look at your struts and in the engine bay, look at your stut towers.. you may have adjustable struts and C&C plates.. may have a somewhat modified suspension on the car.

Yeah I should of went and included that pic the first time, but was trying to focus on those square tubes........my bad.
I will check out the front later adjustable struts.
What are C&C plates? This is what sucks about buying a used car....I know about my old '70 mustang, and nothing about this one. Not the brands or the upgrade paths...

Yes, my 99 GT vert came with factory subframe connectors. Those shocks look like some Cobra take-offs. CC's (camber-caster plates) bolt in place of the factory front strut mount giving more adjustability of the strut (for alignment purposes following lowering spring installation). Look under the hood on the shock towers.
