Hey guys, I have a 2002 Saleen SC. My problem is this.......whenever i go to hit boost the car stutters, like its not getting enough fuel. The car dives fine normal driving, its just when i go about 3/4 throttle that it does this. I just put in new plugs not long ago, The car has sat for awhile with little gas in it, I'm thinkning that maybe it sucked somegunkup in the fuel filter. Bad coil? Dirty filter? Bad pump? Any suggestions?

 

i would try changing the fuel filter first, check the air filter also

 

When my fuel pump went out two months ago I thought it might be my fuel filter.. The tech at the Ford dealership said its almost impossible to plug a fuel filter. Not sure if I believe him but thought I would pass it along.
