Default Something is very wrong (engine?)

so yesturday i'm driving and I notice my car has no power, everything else seemed the same, but it had no power, so I got home and let it sit for a while, checked the oil and coolent, checked under the car for any leaking or anything...nothing...so I took it out again a few hrs later, and again it had no power, like usually once I get around 4000rpm I can really feel it start to take off...NOP...it felt like there was a lot of strain on the engine or something...and then it started making a very slight/mild studdering noise, continuously...not cutting out completely, but just a very slight studdering noise/feeling, but the power distorition is what is real noticible...

i'm taking it in tomorrow, but i'm just wondering, any ideas?

Does it idle alright? If not, IAC valve?

Is it slugish? Maybe a bad injector, maybe a loose connection.

sounds like fuel pump... get a gauge to check fuel pressure when the engine is under a load... or... time to upgrade the fuel pump.

How many miles are on it? When was the last time you changed the fuel filter? I had a pick up truck do the same thing and I changed the fuel filter and it made all the difference.

Yeah, Check the fuel pump. But ive also heard of sparkplugs coming loose, so you could be running less than a V8 and that causes a lot of lost power
