Heres the same mod,,different approach...simple plug,,,drill small hole..install in rubber tube....done..

That looks easy. Where did ya get the plug & what size hole did you drill in it??
Any auto parts store.I based it off the Copper plug IAC mod...Its a Dorman freeze out plug for engines..part numbers on the plug 555-015..drilled a 3/16 hole and works great...Had the idle hang before F/I and after adding F/I it was WORSE...So ...internet search..found the Copper plug mod.Found this freeze out plug a work(mechanic by trade)...and the rest is history....

My hole is 3/16ths but if I am at a stop light with my AC on my idle drops to 300, then to zero. Going to pull out the new gasket and make the hole a touch bigger. I am glad that the idle hang is gone.

I tried to find the 1/2 in freeze plug at my local parts store, but all they had was a kit for like 15 bucks. I got the gasket paper for free at my departments vehicles division so guess which way I went...

so yeah i did this mod early on today and it made me idle way higher and i dont feel like idleing at 900-1000 rpm at a stop ='[ i mean it was a "noticeable" drop in hanging RPMs but not very significant.

did you plug everything back on? like your hoses n such? and did it idle fine ? or was it like idle for a sec then die?
