no, Isn't there a way for use to actually make a "tune" our selves? Like, Program our own fuel/ratio tables, etc.?

Without. Skip the canned tune, go with exhaust and a dyno tune and you'll reach mid to low 5s. Throw in some gears and you'll break into the 4s.
I can't see gears decreasing the 0-60 time, unless it was an auto, you would have to shift into third, and that takes time.
3.73s and 3.90s won't require a shift before 60. 4.10s will.

Yes, there is. You don't want to do that.

Oh, Thanks. What is the best "tuner" for the money then? I was looking at one that said gains of 18 hp? true? or not? gears...... everyone makes it sound so easy, what would i be paying for gears and install? I dont think i could do thegears.

Can you not drive or something gears are almost the biggest upgrade you can do to decrease your 0-60

I'd say you need gears, exhaust, drag radials and a tune and you'll be in the low 5's. Question though, why do you just wanna reduce your 0 to 60 time? Are you just racing from 0 to 60 all the time?

Don't touch the pumpkin. Most who have done it themselves either screwed it up, got lucky or actually knew what they were doing. Gears installed seem to run around $450 to $500. With a canned 93 octane tune, I'd guess you'd get 8 to 10.

SCT or DiabloSport. Everything else is dookie. SCT "speaks" to your ecu better than the Diablosport, but you're gonna go with whatever software your tuner uses. Throw up a post for reputable tuners in your area and you'll get plenty of suggestions...

Notwith 373's you don't have to shift into 3rd.
