There's three components when it comes to exhaust on these cars...
Headers (LT's, midlength, shorties)
Midpipe (offroad, catted)
Catback
Long tubes will benefit you the most in hp and is great for a good exhaust note. Very deep sounding. Some companies that offer headers are Mac, SLP, Kooks, and BBK.
The midpipe is where you will really make a difference in your exhaust. You have either an H pipe or an X pipe. The H tends to be loud and DEEP. The X is more of a raw sound that you would get from NASCAR for example. Its just a matter of personal preference on that. O/R means the midpipe is not catted and will be louder.
Catback's are numerous. There are many many different kinds. My best advice is to check out my exhaust clips thread up in the stickies under Tech and listen to some clips to get an idea of what you like before you make a purchase.
