Default kinda new here.....

ok so im new to the forum, my name is chris. i recently aquired a 94 crown vic, not exactly a mustang i know but similar drivetrain from what ive gathered. i would like to go along the path of dropping in a blown cobra engine, but for now i just want to get the car running. it has the 4.6 in it with only 70,000 miles and quite frankly runs like crap and every day it just gets worse and worse. it ran flawlessly when i bought it no less than 2 months ago. when i first start the car it wont move to save its life. only after a little warm up revving or just letting the car sit for about 15 minutes running will it move...and then it barely does that. it sputters and pops and backfires and just refuses to move at anything short of full throttle until its fully warm. it has a pretty bad shake to it and there is no throttle response hardly. someone pointed me in the direction of intake manifold gasket or o2 sensor all of which have now been replaced and honestly changing the manifold gaskets just made it worse. of course, i could have messed something up though. anyways, any help that can be offered is AWESOME. thanks and i hope someone on here is keen enough to figure it out from the descriptions/information i have given. thanks.
