RE: SEAFOAM

They use to have instructions on the can that said that... LOL
Everything I said use to be on the can but its not there anymore. I guess they got enough testing.

I still dont like it for the crankcase though. If your worried about gunk in it then remove the pan, for those who cant remove the pan so easily then I guess its the only option.

Will seafoam be safe for my car since it is supercharged?

Also what if you don't have a brake booster? I have a can of compressed air?

I've never used Seafoam, buti've heard it works pretty well. This thread is cracking me up though. I personally think that if the stuff was BAD for yourcar then the company would be out of business. Theonlyexamples of things going bad seem to be because people weren't following the directions. I'll probably use it when I hit 75k-80k, at $5 or so, it won't be that big of a deal to do before I dothe regular tune-up stuff i'll do anyway, plugs/filters/and ALL the fluids.

I don't know my car is from Canada and I don't have a break booster. I have this setup with this can that says compresed air on it. I guess that is what helps with the brakes rather then the engine vacuum. Either way I dumped have a bottle into a vacuum line right off the manifold and let it sit for 30 minutes. Cleaned it out nice! We also ran a whole bottle threw my landlords V6 toyota pickup and a whole bottle in his V8 durango (I think its the 5.7) Both got noticlbly good results. His durango had ALOT of **** in it and he thinks its because he only uses low grade fuel. I always use the best gas cause I'm S/Ced and mine didn't have much gunk comming out.
