dont waste your money on that, i knw you dont get the greatest gain froma CAI but i still like to have one for looks and just knowing my engine breaths better.. get a JLT
I can get this one for right around $100 though
How are you getting it for $100, when it specifically says on their site, $189.50? Or are you getting it off ebay or some other person?

i hate my mac cai. i disconnected it when i did my spark plugs and ever since it just doesnt seem to fit properly. my car kept stalling out bc the tube before the maf kept coming apart and i finally got it to stay together but it just doesnt seemlike if fits correctly...

if your still planning on selling the car dont waste your money even if its a good deal keep saving...

Get a JLT.

They are proven to make gains. I can totally tell the difference in top end with my car when i have it on over my stock intake.

I have lots of experiance with Mac CAI's and I feel they are a good addition to your car. They add a little power but they really add to the sound of the car. The exhaust note changes and you can hear the engine through the intake.

I dont have any experiance with a JLT cause it looks kinda ugly and the major bottle neck of the JLT is the MAF, so unless you have an 80 or 90mm MAF I think the JTL is restricted from its true performance (Thats assuming you have a twin bore TB.)

+1 on getting the Mac

I only paid $15 for mine new cause a company was switching over to Corvette parts only but $100 seems ok. You really gotta look at what your paying for though, the MAC filter is $50 bux, that tubing can be purchased for next to nothing so they are making some good money off of ya.

I like ebay for my deals

I had to have my car tuned after putting a mac 85mm straight shot system because the car wouldn't run right afterwards. Also, i have had fitment issues as well with mine. It is as if they made the kit an inch and a half too short on mine.
