Default Car problem

It happend this morning and this is the second time it has happend within a month or so. And i know how some problems are caused by hard driving but keep in mind that i dont even remember the last time i hit 4k was....

So i started my car this morning and it seemed kinda sluggish. Having an offroad midpipe it didnt have that roar when it first started. Well i backed out of my driveway and as i tried to go forward my rpms just dropped and it idled at literally 200 rpms for 10-15 seconds. During this i didnt know what else to do but try and give it some gas to try and get it back up but my throttle had NO response what so ever. After that ended though it was fine.

So what could be causing this? It has been POORING so could water have leaked in somehow?
Or could it be that i still have a dirty paper filter? I took my air silencer out awile ago and my filter looks dirty... but not filthy. So what could be causing this?

well, if water got in the hole where the silencer was, it could have gotton water through it but i doubt it.. could be a clogged filter, but i dont think it would be that drastic... id start with the injectors, coil overs and new air filter. if thats not it, check the fuel filter. other than that, maybe your throttle body got stuck closed and you should check the cable or get some carb cleaner and spray it in there and clean it.

i know when i start my car in the morning.. especially after it sits for a while i put it into drive and the rpms drop to about 3-400 for about 3-4 seconds.. not for 10 seconds though.. so something isnt right but i dont think ur engine is going to blow or anything. probably the filter restricting the flow cause of it getting damp and dirty

maybe because the engine sucking in the air evaporated the water.. when the filter gets wet it expands and restricts airflow... be glad ur filter absorbed the water... im thinking a K&N would have let it through

I had the same problem the other day when I was autocrossing my car,I started it to let it warm up before the run and just about the time I start the run it did that .It idleddown toabout 200 rpm's it sounded like someonejust cut the power offand then when I gave it gas it ilded up just fine and stayed there. I don't know what caused it and it has not done it again yet.I am running a K&N filter and it looks clean to me.
Maybe plugged injector(s) or fuel pump, fuel filter.
Hell I don't know but if you find it please let me know. Thanks

Ok bro... but i think we have a different problem because when i tried revving mine up i had no throttle response at all. It just continued to idle low.
