I'm ordering my 3.90's next week and I'm gonna get a speedo cal for now, a programmer would break the bank right now. I just don't know how/where it installs. Any help would be great!!

I thought it plugged into your OBD port to reflash the computer but even if it went between the VSS and the tranny neither one is too hard. I'm sure you'l get instructions

 

Do a search for my posts. I wrote up an awesome how to on doing a SpeedCal. It works wonders!

hhmmm, those things cost around 100. i'd save for the tuner. you change tire size in the future?=tuner. proformance mods later=tuner. traction turned off=tuner.
check ebay for deals and people getting rid of em. got mine for 225

 

Speed cal is easy to install. Took me like 30 minutes and that included reading the instructions.

The only thing is, I'm a little gunshy about buying a used programmer....aren't alot of them VIN locked?

 

As long as the stock tune is returned to the car it was on,it will work on another.
