Hey guys and gals -

Would it be safe to use like 1500 or 2000 grit on my newly "peeling" headlights? They are aftermarket clear corners. I tried to clean up my old ones with the wet sand method and they came out looking like junk. I am pissed. I thought i did it wrong but the headlight is so smooth but still looks "smoked" Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated.
