i just bought a crate motor for my 97 gt ( 2003 mach 1 motor) can i use my computer but bring my car to a ford dealer and have them witch the info to a mach1, or where can i buy a computer for a mach1

I think your going to have to search for a harness and PCM on the internet or junkyards short of going to Ford to pay a million bucks for one. They have thier own PCM computer and harness. You might also have to find one that is either a Auto or 5-speed PCM depending on what trans you have.

Everyone on know thats done a motor swap from 2v to 4v had to get a new cpu... Im not sure if it was necessary or not.

Someone on here has put a Mach 1 engine in his '97 GT. PM "mustangsel" - I've seen his car. It's pretty sweet. His name is Brian and he's pretty cool. He has his own shop in NJ.

yea big plans for my car iam gonna build the motor this winter and prob a turbo system or a pro charger

can it be done use my 97 computer just with 03 mach 1 info on it ? not my area
