Is 10 pounds of boost on a stock 02 gt mustang with a auto is it gonna hurt it bad. Like for a procharger

 

Be sure to geta Good Tune, and dont run it lean, I would say it would be alright.

 

depends on ur numbers... tranny might not be too happy. get a transmission cooler to help a little bit, but youre gonna have to build it at some point if you want that boost.

 

I run 10psi on a stock motor but I am a 5 speed...

 

keep in mind, there's no guarentee your motor or tran will hold up even with 350RWHP.

 

When you say "stock" do you mean stock short block or complete stock car. If you are referring to the car described in your sig I would say you should be ok. The long tubes and the intercooler will help a lot to preserve the engine. Transmission cooler will help a lot as well. Like it has been said before though, it's all in the tune.

 

i'm referring to stock shortblock. there's no guarentee any amount of power will be "fine". you see 05+ GTs running around with 500+RWHP with no problems with the norm being around 450-460. my stepdad's threw 2 rods at 408.

 

My friend who owns an 04 Mach1 threw a rod in his. I forget how much boost he was running though.
