I am installing my KB 9 psi intercooled right now, and I found out, from KB that my stock Stock MAM which must be put back on, pegs out at 400rwhp, that is a problem because with my CAI I will be over 400 according to KB. ANyone know what I can do to get around spending another 600bucks for KB's intake kit, MAM, CAI, Big TUbe, and Switch Chip (high octane mode). I mean I just spent 5k on the charger kit and about 200 on stuff for the install, some torque wrenchs, coolant, etc. (subs and beer). Anyone have an idea or know something.

I think a lot of people use the Lightning 90mm MAM. Thats gonna run you close to $300 brand new if not more.

*or you could just send me the KB kit.*

How do you like your steeda CAI? i was thinking about getting one aswell

If you end of having to get rid of your steeda CAI or 85mm MAM im always looking for used parts.

i thought i was all alone here on christmas eve, damn night shifts. So the densecharger is now tunable induction right? they have there own website?

First off, I would go ahead with the install. How much rwhp did you want? 400 rwhp should be close to your target anyway. Did your KB kit come with a new chip? You mention their switch chip as one of the add ons, did you get an original chip for the tune change? I don't see 400 rwhp as a problem, but if you want to get more your MAM may support more than KB says. -That's why I say go ahead as planned. If you really wanted to keep the stock MAM(MAS) and run more hp, then you coulod get a MAF tuner. What this device does is change the signal from the MAM to your ECU. This would allow you to use the stock MAM, and it would eliminate the need for a switch chip, giving you full control of the a/f ratio. -But, this item (280$), is about the same price as a new MAM. So for the $ the new MAM is a good way to go, especially since you will get more performance out of a bigger one. You could go 85, but I'd go 90mm. But first i say continue as planned and see what the dyno shows. BTW, you will be impressed when you're all done.
