Default Check Engine Light......AGAIN

(3) weeks ago the check engine light turned on and I got it checked and it was the o2 sensors.
Light turned off after 3 days.

I have a o/r h-pipe with the bbk mils eleminator.
Today the light came back on, got it checked again and it is the front and back o2 sensors again.

I do have a driver side header gasket leak....can that cause the light to come on?

What do I need to check?
Do I still have any o2 sensors?

Thanks

I would try a different set of mil's. You may have gotten a bad set

I do believe the exhaust leak could also be the cause of your problem it effects your A/F reading.

Please correct me if im wrong....but the mils replace the rear o2's right?
So that means I still have front o2's. If so, maybe i need to replace the front o2's with new o2's?

Front and back? You sure you got the right sensors into the right places when you put your H pipe on? If it says front and rear, then I'd be less likely to think it were the MIL eliminators, however I have heard people complain about the BBKs. I personally have a set on my car and have had no problems, but I've still heard the complaints.

All the mils do is plug into the rear o2s and make the ECU think they are still reading everything is ok.

Doesn't your tuner have the option of turning off the rear o2 sensors??? Just turn them completely off, they do nothing except nanny for emissions anyway, the fronts are the only sensors that effect tune.

You must have not installed the H yourself....you still have all 4 o2 sensors, the mils just plug into the wires going to the rear set of sensors.

So I might have a bad mil like Breakinloose said?

Or 1 of the 4 o2 sensors are bad?

And yes....the shop did do my h-pipe.

why don't you just shut down the rear 02s with your tuner? I haven't heard of a handheld yet that couldn't do this.
