yesterday, i allowed my friend to take a spin in the stang (yeah i know, stupid) so he goes WOT from 3rd gear and as soon as its about to shift, he just lets off the gas at around 5000 rpms' and i hear this godawful noise. almost sounds like a screeching of a rusty nail on a chalk board come from what i think was the engine. could a belt have slipped? or what could this have been

yeah it runs good, just seems to do that godawful noise if i go WOT then release the gas quickly like my friend did. i cant duplicate it under any other circumstances unless i floor the gas and release it instantly

 

wasyour a/c on?a/c pumps dont like high r'ssssss.
if it run fine i dont see a problem
