Default Who has a locker?

I was going to buy an eaton LSD; but this car has less than a year left as a daily driver... Thinking about getting a detroit locker; anyone driven a locker on the street? If so how is it.

Yeah idk if a Detroit Locker is very practical for a DD. I would get a beefier LSD like the Auburn.

What about the e-locker. More money; but seems like its the best of both worlds. You can just choose when its an open diff and locked.

You could do a licoln locker and weld the spiders to the rings gears

Isn't that pretty much a spool; no way in hell I want that. It's much worse than a locker.

Elocker FTW. My Tacoma had it, button off, open diff, button on, locked rear.

Not sure how easy the install would be on a stang axle that wasn't designed to have an elocker though....

Its for a ford 8.8; however I think i'm going to go with the auburn unit. Same type of deal but its made especially for a stang and its 250 cheaper.

Jegs has the "e" lock for cheaper. http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...55375_-1_10151

I had an Auburn in my '70 pontiac and I loved it. Handled way over 450 horses.
