Default 315 Tires again..

Hey guys, I'm ordering my tires either today or monday the latest.. I think im gonna go ahead and get the Eagle F1 GS-D3s, unless anyone can suggest me something better. I'm looking for a really nice street tire for DD, that can also do well with some canyon running. Nitto DR's with 555s up front are alot cheeper, but I don't think they will last.. any last opinions?

personally i dont like nittos' and DR's wouldnt be good for any "canyon runs". ive always had good traction and cornering with gforce, but each persons vehicle likes tires in a different way. but for canyon runs, id look for a really good street tire with great dry traction (assuming you dont race in inclement weather)

Those tires will probably do you pretty well. I havn't seen anybody complain about them really... I thought this was going to be another sumicrapo tire thread[:'(][:'(].. Good thing it isn't, I don't have to preach about them.. lol..

Pilots are nice but expensive. GS-D3's are best for the money right now, IMO.

You should really like those GS-D3's. I rode in a 450 rwhp cobra with 315's of these on the rear and going wot, it never hopped or spun... you should enjoy some good hooking with these. Let us know how they are for ya.... I'm interested since this is gonna be a near purchase for me soon.

DR's are a softer compound and tend to roll in the corners!!! Especially when most people run 24-26psi in DR's. You can't have the best of both worlds! Either striaght line running or cornering ability
