SCT not Diablo... and i dont think you need a dyno tune for LT's and a midpipe. LT's usually boost the top end, and you lose some low end tq.

shorty's aren't that much better than stock manifolds. Longtubes is where you feel the difference. I would get the diablo. The tune will be a waste of money with the mods you have. The diablo will get it close to what a dyno tune would. Do a Dyno tune when you get nitrous or go F/I.

Most manufactures get their power figures on cars that have F/I. It makes the guy that's N/A think He'll pick up 20 hp and he goes out and buys them. I only picked up 15 peak HP with my LT's & OR X. Look on the bright side: If you got longtubes, your installation alone would have been close to $700, not counting the headers!

It's probably the EGR tube leaking. Mine did the same thing. I would not effect the performance to the point where you would feel a difference. It's just more annoying than anything. Just try to tighten it some more and see if it fixes it.

Back to the topic at hand, if you get a dyno tune, you have to pay for the handheld tuner AND the dyno time. If you buy a tuner alone, you can use the canned tune it comes with. You cannot tune the car on the dyno without some sort of tuner device.

On another note, manufacturers will claim hp numbers 5x what they actually are in order to push product. I bet if you read that those headers will net you 2-4 hp you would have never dropped that kind of cash on them. People lie, get used to it.
