finaly broke my trans
the tr33650 finaly busted. for as long as i can remember the 3rd synchro was going bad. from time to time it would grind and then eventualy having to double clutch. when i wanted to go fast i just speed shifted in to 3rd and heard that nice crunch. im guessing now the shift fork is f_cked because i cant get 3rd or 4th even when double clutching. it just pops out of gear and grinds. this trans pissed me off for the last time, im getting a t56 cobra trans. ha im going to have fun with the headers again doh!

I would look into either a TKO or a T-56 viper spec. From the reading I've done they seem to be the best choices.

TKO's are nice. Look for a used T-56 and rebuild it.
yea i think im going with the 6 speed. i'll try to buy a used one and upgrade it with better synchros and such. isn't there another method of getting the trans out without taking off long tube headers? with my car on the lift it looks like the trans can be maneuvered in/out.
double clutch untill you get a new trans or synchro. if by grinding you mean it vibrates the shifter and is difficult to shift into 3rd then only double clutch into 3rd-when this happens it is easy to bend a shift fork.
