HEHEHEHE..... That's why I bought a beater. I knew the moment I drove my car the first time, she wasn't going anywhere in the white stuff.

I can't even get up my driveway with less then an inch of snow, that's just pathetic. But my friend, MaSTi couldn't get up my driveway either and he has AWD!!! (had the Ultra High Performance rubber on it, that's why)

Let me tell ya, Camaro's are waaaaaaaay better in the snow than Mustangs.

400lbs is quite a bit of stress to put on your car all winter long, the springs and shocks won't be happy with that.

200lbs is enough with snow tires..

yeah i know the feeling !!!. also your right about the weight.. i do have my car lowered as well so 200 maybe better than 400 that may be way too much stress like you said..

If I HAD to drive in the smow I would let each tire down to like 10-15 psi. LOL Get a better foot print.

i have 200 lbs of sandbags in my trunk, i was thinking of going more but i keep thinking if i start fish tailing, momentum from all the weight will probably make it worse.

The highways here are a sheet of ice. i was driving down the highway and spun my stang a 360 going 80km/hr on a straight away, in fifth gear. scary ****, good thing there was no other cars coming.

i have winter tires too, but next winter im getting new ones with studs. get studs you wont regret it, and its cheaper than fixing your stang after you fly into the rubarb.
