mine seems do take loner after the supercharger installation too. i also got LT headers installed at the same time. the car has no issues running, so i figured it was something normal to do with the install of those items.

i get the same 2 to 3 second turn over when my engine is hot too.; Sometimes i accidentially let it stall before letting it fire up and it is kinda embarrassing

sorry =( ive noticed if its warm and with 87 octane it takes more than 3 cranks but yeah, it could be somethin with the fuel, ignition, or even the MAF.

I usually leave my car in the on position while I buckle my seat belt and it gives the fuel pump time to build up pressure before I start to crank the engine and it starts right away. If I jump in and start cranking right away it will do what the rest of you are saying. Its embarrasing because people see how nice our cars look but then it sounds like they barely want to start. I had a 97 Aurora with the DOHC 4.0 V8 and it did the same thing the 4.6 does; Everynowand then it would require extra cranking. Try just leaving the key on for a few seconds and see if it helps, it seems to help me.

put your key in the "on" position for about 5 seconds, then try firing it up. thats what i have to do on my brothers camaro, i have no clue why, but it works.

With the blower it takes about 3-5 seconds to start up...
