not to sound weird
i want to get the sportline springs because they lower the car two inches,
how will this effect the rest of driving (pot holes, speed bumps, ramps)

2" is ok, but you will absolutely NEED aftermarket struts (or stock fox body) and shocks and CC plates.

well i re did my entire suspension, so not only the springs, but a bunch of other stuff... id recommened getting new shocks and struts and u will def need CC plates otherwise it wont align.... so get ready to spend about an extra 400+ bucks without the cost of sprigns if u want a low ride.... if not, then get some steeda springs and u wont need CC plates or anything like that

If I got some Eibach lowering springs would I need to get CC plates as well? I've been looking into lowering my car but I hadn't heard about needing anything else.

Do those eibach sportlines come with new bushings and what-not?? Isn't that all you need to lower your car for those springs? I mean, do you really need struts an CC plates or is the ride good without them??? I too am looking for a cheap drop. My vert sits like a 4X4.

You will need struts and shocks (not immediately if your stockers are relatively new) because the lowered springs and stiffer spring rates will soon eat up the stock ones. The CC plates may or may not be needed depending on if the allignment will come to spec without them. At 2" drop my bet is you'll need them. You may also need swaybar bolts and tie rod ends with different drop lengths to combat bump steer. You can get away without some of this stuff at 1.5" drop. But, at 2" you're starting to push the envelope on the front end geometry pretty hard. [sm=smiley20.gif]
