Default Mac Catback

ok so I have a SS Mac Catback and love it......but i'd say every month or so I have to slide under the rear of the car and tighten down the exhaust tips to the pipes at the C-Clips....no matter how tight I think I get it, about a month or so later it starts creakin and rattling again.....which is really annoying especially lately now that I have stage 2 cams and my car shaked a bit more.....driving out of parking lots at low revs is pretty noticeable once it gets loose.....

happen to anyone else? I'm thinking the only solution is to take it to an exhaust shop and have them welded on[:@]

any suggestions?

Yeah I also have a Mac exhaust and I know exactly what you mean about it coming loose. I think I may give the locktight idea a try.

I've only had my MAC catback on for a few days, and no issues... yet. It wasn't the best fit but it isn't hitting anything and there are no leaks yet.

I and my brother both have MAC cat-backs on our cars. He has to tighten up a few things every couple of months and move the tail pipes back into place. I myself have not had any problems with movement though. I have had mine for 7-8 months. Definitely get some locktite or weld it or something. The MAC's don't really fit that great like said above, but all in all I'm happy with 'em.
