Default SLP loudmouth exhaust?

I have a 2001 gt with mac offroad h pipe and flowmaster 40 series mufflers. I want to put the slp loudmouth exhaust on but just the resonators. I dont want to spend the extra money just for the whole catback. Is it possible for the loudmouth resonatorsto fit due to the offset from midpipe to catback? If so, where is a good place to find a good deal.

just buy glasspacks, basically the same thing, just no stainless tipswhich are very nice, but basically same sound, just have someone weld them in

I was just seeing if it was even possible to weld the loudmouth shotgun resonator in place of where my flows are now. Do you like the sound from your combination of h pipe and glasspack?

I have the exact same setup as you. I plan on just getting a whole new catback eventually, im sure it would be well worth it.

Instead of ghettoing up a POS system you won't like just buy SLP. Or you can be like many here and wish you had listened, your choice. As an SLP owner you can't get a better system. The rest are second place.

You can just buy the SLP LM1's and have them welded in. That's what I did with mine. At first I had the LM1'spaired with a Mac O/R h-pipe and it sounded terrible to me! It sounded like a pure machine gun at certain rpms and sounded nothing like a muscle car. I later added two hi-flow catalytic converters and it really added the tone I was looking for. Much more like a beasty muscle car.

Get the whole catback. It is stainless, fits perfect, and you can always swap the LM's out for LM2's or Powerflow.
