alrighty folks, im needing some info on how to take out the passenger side air bag in my sn95. i can peel up the edges but i cant really get a big enough gap to see whats holding it in. i've even taken out the glove box and looked underneath and i can see the air bag itself but not anything thats holding it in.

Sorry can't help ya with the passenger side.. I only know driver side.... why do you want to take out the passenger side.. you are going to have a hole in the dash if you do..

are you saying that if i took it out i wouldn't be able to get it back in?

I dunno.. like I said.. I don't know much about the passenger side.. I'm pretty sure, however that the strip on the dash above the glove box IS the airbag… the same way that the middle leathery part of your steering wheel (horn area) is all part of your drivers side airbag so if you removed the airbag and kept it out then you would have a rectangularhole in your dash.
Why would you want to remove it? I have heard of people removing the drivers side airbag (me being one of them) to put in an aftermarket steering wheelbut have never heard of anyone removing the passenger side..
Not to mention that messing around with the airbags are dangerous because if they get a charge they can explode... make sure you disconnect the battery for at least 20-30 minsso that the backup charge in the bag depletes before trying to yank it out..
