Default Do I need a front end alignment?

Ok, so lately I've noticed my stang beginning to shake a bit when I go over 55mph. Nothing major, just noticable. I just had new tires put on a month ago, so I shouldn't need a balance. What does it take to do an alignmet, or should I take it in? I haven't taken it to the strip in months, but have been doing some long distance driving. I have no mods to the suspension except a steeda strut tower brace... but that's been on the car a year. Please help.

Could be warped brake rotors, out of balance driveshaft & poor alignment.

Yeah, I would bet its the rotors or brakes before I would say alignment.

have ya hit anything lately? curb, pot hole? that could throw the tire out of balance, and if its a brake rotor, your probably going to notice the vibration more stepping on the brakes. Have you done anything with the driveshaft lately? cuz they really dont just go out of balance and the driveshaft screws dont really come loose............

I'm leaing towards the tires too. Its possible you may have thrown a wheel weight, its happend to me. Have them checked out and go from there.

I would take the car to the place where you purchased the tires and discuss your situation. They may check the tires for free because you should have some type of warranty with it. If that's not the problem, then I would take it in to one of those places that will check your brakes for free.

Good luck!

Well, I have never had the brakes checked, and I just put about 2500 miles on the thing in 2 weeks... I guess I'll start with the wheels and go from there.
