Why are we hated so much.....?
 

Basically every car forum calls our cars "rustangs" "GT stands for Gay Team" and all kinds of names. I don't understand why we are hated so much i have no animosity for any other car..I have nothing but respect for them.....its really not good our generation of mustang must be among the most hated car ever...[:@]

2001 saleen, why are you yelling? just kidding, my friends talks crap about mustangs but then they can i drive it? what i hate are some of the corvette guys that look at you like your driving a dumpster.

People have their preference of cars.

Lots of import owners hate domestics because of what they've had personal experience with in bad build quality, short life spans and stories of bad engines/cars in general.

Lots of domestic owners hate imports simply because they aren't American made.

Still other domestic owners hate imports because they don't understand that not everyone wants to have a car getting an average of 14 mpg for a daily driver.

Still other domestic owners hate imports because they're slow and can't kick out the rear end on command.

Even though some domestic owners do like imports, they still would never buy one. Some will, and do for daily drivers.

I'm not biased, I'm not brand loyal. I like all makes and models and I will give the car a chance before I rag on it.


However, I've never seen anyone hate on a car because of JEALOUSY. That's just a pure mustang enthusiast only thought train.

Because Mustangs have been Icons for a long time. Icons are either loved or hated. That and Mustangs are just too popular and too competitive.

i dunno man.... a lot of these cars have the same or if not better potential than our cars(rx7s, supras, 350z, srt4,..the list goes on and on..)

I also agree with 2000si. And some people are just stupid. I don't hate imports I have civics and cavaliers alike when they ahve their fart can muffler's triple stack aluminum wings and primer body kits... Thats what I hate.

yea....just its pretty disheartening..it also doesnt help that most mustang owners driver like they are kings of the road and think they have the fastest car on the planet. I see it every day. That is also why many import guys LOVE beating stangs on the highway..etc
