Default Tuning Q's??

Ok, so I've finally put enough in my 'stang to the point where I would like to tune it. The only problem there is that I have no idea what type of tune would warrant the best results. any help you guys have is much appreciated.

based on your mods list, the only thing that really would help you would be the longtubes. usually you want a tune when you dig into the motor (heads, cams, F/i, nitrous, stroker etc.) i dont really see you needing a tune quite yet.

yea u dont need one at all. i was thinking about a tune, but i asked lethal performance (a shop in sa) n he told me not to worry about a tune till i get nitrous, heads or cams.

Or if you change the mass air meter, want to turn off the rear O2sensors for an O/R midpipe, or if you change your gears too.

A premium fuel tune (and an aftermarlet plenum to go with the TB) could get you 15-20 HP or more peak HP, and some pretty good percentage gains at midrange revs. With my mods (see below) and a 93 octane tune I dynoed (DynoJet) at 246.7 HP and276.5 lb.ft. at the wheels which is 20 to 30 HP more than a dead stock '03 GT, depending on what baselines you look at--plus both max HP and torque were pushed up by 750 rpm or so. and flatter beyond that...
